The records you choose

When choosing a sign, you should first and foremost consider the backing material, not the print. The material determines where it will be hung and how long it needs to stay there. This page compares the different backing materials side by side so that you can make the right choice.

For outdoor use and to last for years, there is dibond, an aluminium composite panel that does not rust and will remain flat until 2050 at 4050 mm. If you want to use it outdoors without PVC, then biprint, bubbleboard and polystyrene the three that can handle it. All three are plastic sheets without PVC; they’re not made of cardboard.

For indoor use, forex As usual, with Ecoboard as the PVC-free alternative: the same thickness and the same milling tolerances, so your existing file will fit without any adjustments. In addition, we print on materials with unique properties, such as plexiglass for light, plywood for warmth and glass for those who really want glass. For each sheet, the thickness, the largest single-piece size and the Ecoscore are listed in the facts table.

The cardboard sheets are kept separately, by the cardboard sheets. They score 5 out of 5 on our own eco-scale of 1 to 5 and are disposed of as waste paper after use, but they remain indoors. That’s a different story from what’s written here.

You will find the widest range of sheet materials at Creafor.
