In a car park, it’s rarely just one sign but a whole series of them. Each space is given a number, or spaces are reserved for visitors, for a company car or for a charging point. As a result, the implementation is more important than the design, because what’s written on them doesn’t change once they’re in place.

If it’s for a weekend – for example, to form queues in a car park at an event – 2 mm polystyrene will do. It’s PVC-free, and you can dispose of it afterwards.
The method of attachment depends on the ground. On a paved car park, the sign is mounted on a post that is fixed in place; in loose ground, it is mounted on a wooden or aluminium post that is driven into the ground. If a Heras fence is already in place, the sign can be attached to it. If you also want to direct visitors to the correct entrance, the signposts and nameplates will be located at the signs.
