Frequently asked questions about zipper wall
How do I get the canvas onto the frame?
The fabric has a zip running all the way round. You slide it over the assembled aluminium frame and close the zip, after which the fabric pulls itself taut. This means there are no creases left and you cannot see any clips or eyelets at the edges.
Can a Zipper Wall be placed outdoors?
No. The 215-gram fabric is listed in our materials sheet as an indoor material, so we do not install this wall outdoors. If you need a printed fabric to be hung outdoors, please state this in your enquiry, as this will require a different material.
How big is a zipper wall?
The version we supply is 2300 mm wide and 3000 mm high. These dimensions are listed as such in our ordering module, in four variants: single-sided or double-sided printing, each available with or without a frame.
Can I order a new cover on its own at a later date?
Yes, that’s what the frameless versions are for. If you already have an aluminium frame in place, you simply replace the printed fabric whenever your message or corporate identity changes. The frame can then continue to be used as normal.
What is the difference between single-sided and double-sided?
Single-sided printing means that only the front side features an image, which is sufficient if the display is positioned against another stand or against a wall. Choose double-sided printing if visitors will also be passing by the rear side, for example in the case of a freestanding display or a partition in the middle of a corridor.
Could the wall be curved?
Yes, we supply this wall in both a straight and a curved version. A curved wall is often used to round off a corner of the stand or to make the stand recognisable from a distance.
What is the difference compared to a separate cloth?
A zipper wall is the complete unit: fabric plus aluminium frame, in a standard size, designed to stand upright as a wall. You can buy a piece of fabric on its own, in the size of the frame or system you already have. If you’re simply replacing the image, the separate piece of fabric is the one for you.
Will you be putting the stand together on site?
This can be arranged on request. Creafor has its own team that will come to your premises as agreed. The wall itself is, however, designed to be set up without a team: the frame clicks into place and the fabric is slipped over it using the zip.
What is the largest size?
The fabric is available in a single piece up to 3 metres wide. If the wall is wider than that, we place several frames side by side and position the seam on the upright, where it is concealed.
What about the environmental aspect?
The fabric is PVC-free polyester with an Ecoscore of 2 out of 5, and is recycled as polyester. The frame will last for years, so fitting a new fabric into the same frame is the most cost-effective way to refresh it.
Can I wash the canvas?
Hand wash gently and lay flat to dry. As it is a printed polyester fabric, it should not be machine-washed at high temperatures or tumble-dried.

With a zipper wall, you stretch a printed fabric panel with a zip around an aluminium frame. This ensures the fabric lies flat, without creases and with no visible fixings at the edges. The frame can be dismantled afterwards and the fabric folds away, so you can transport a complete wall measuring 2300 by 3000 mm without a trailer. You can choose between single-sided and double-sided printing, and you can also order the fabric separately if you already have the frame. Fabric with a zip, stretched over an aluminium frame
The zip runs all the way round the canvas and fastens it over the frame. This ensures the image hangs tautly with no visible fastenings, and you can remove it in a minute to wash or replace it.
Standard wall 2300 by 3000 mm
Printed on one side or both sides. Can be printed up to 3 metres wide, so that a 3-metre wall can be produced in one piece, with no seam running through the image.
Straight or curved
Both versions are available. You can also order it without a frame, as a loose canvas, if you already have a frame.
