A property sign is a sign that serves multiple purposes. It remains on a property until it is sold or let, and then moves on to the next one. This determines the choice of materials far more than the size.
The V-sign The standard design is a flat board with three crease lines that you fold into a V-shape. This allows it to stand upright without any additional support, or to be clamped over a fence, a balustrade or a low wall. We supply it in 4 mm corrugated polypropylene. Thinner versions tear at the drill holes after a few relocations, whilst thicker ones become unnecessarily heavy to transport.
If there is no façade and no fence – for example, in the case of a detached house or a building plot – then there is the gallows board: an aluminium frame mounted on a ground spike, in sections so that it fits in the car. The fixing parts are interchangeable and can be ordered separately, so a broken part does not mean you need a whole new frame.
If you’re working with a series of buildings, the price per unit goes down, as the design is created just once. If, on the other hand, the sign is to remain in the same place for years, then it’s more a question of a construction site sign or a advertising hoarding.
