Arrow signs

That depends on the material. Corrugated polypropylene and polystyrene are intended for short-term use – from a weekend to a few weeks. If you want to reuse the same signs for several seasons, Dibond is the better choice.

An arrow sign is temporary and is placed along the route to a one-off event. A signpost is a permanent sign on your own premises and remains in place for years. Whilst they may look similar, their materials and lifespan are different.

We provide mounting holes in the standard arrow-shaped sign, so that you can attach it to a post, a fence or a barrier. If you would like drill holes of a different diameter, we will drill them to suit your own mounting system.

Yes, with double-sided printing. That way, you don’t need to order twice as many arrows for the outward and return legs of the same route.

There are reflective films, fluorescent films and phosphorescent films – the sort that glow in the dark. These are worth considering for an evening event or a diversion that remains in place overnight.

That’s possible; we can also mill out rectangles, rounded corners or a special shape. The standard cut-out shape is cheaper, though, as the cut is already prepared for that.

Creafor can take care of delivery and installation; we have our own installation team that works outdoors every day. For a route spanning several kilometres, we agree in advance where each sign will be placed.

Arrow signs are available in two versions in our ordering module: reusable 2 mm polystyrene and single-use 4 mm hollow-core slabs. Simply choose your version, enter the size and quantity, and you’ll see the price straight away. For a cut-out shape or a non-standard sheet, we’ll provide a bespoke quote.

From a certain quantity onwards, even if nobody orders any. A route requires an arrow at every junction, and in practice there are between twenty and fifty of them. With those numbers, the price per arrow drops significantly.

The standard arrow measures 250 by 750 mm. Larger sizes are possible, up to a sheet size of 2050 by 3050 mm, but an arrow intended to be read from a moving car is better served by a short message than by a large sign.

One at every point where someone has to make a choice, and one just after every turn to confirm they’re on the right track. That second set is almost always forgotten, and that’s where people turn back.
