Frequently asked questions about easy dot stickers
Can an Easy Dot sticker be displayed outdoors?
Yes, the material is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Outdoors, you can expect it to last for about a year. The surface must be clean and dust-free, as the adhesive layer will not bond to dust or grease.
How long does an Easy Dot sticker last?
The product information sheet states a lifespan of 1 year. That is more than enough for promotional campaigns, sales and temporary offers, which is precisely what this material is intended for. If you want something that will last for years, you’d be better off choosing standard self-adhesive vinyl.
How do I stick it on without any air bubbles?
Place the image against the surface, smooth it out from the centre outwards, and the air will escape through the dots of adhesive. If there is a bubble or it is crooked, simply peel the film off and reapply it. You don’t need an instructional video for this.
Will there be any glue residue left when I remove it?
No, the sticker comes off without leaving any adhesive residue. That is why it is often chosen for shop windows in rented premises and for promotional campaigns that are taken down after a few weeks.
What is the difference between this and a standard monomer sticker?
A monomer sticker has a standard solid adhesive layer, lasts for 2 years and sticks firmly wherever you place it. An Easy Dot sticker lasts for 1 year, but you can reposition it whilst applying it and remove it afterwards without leaving any residue. So you’re not paying for longevity, but for convenience.
Is Easy Dot PVC-free?
The airstick material we use for this is not PVC-free. If you are specifically looking for a PVC-free version, please enquire, as the range of PVC-free films changes regularly.
Which versions can I order?
White or transparent, always cut to size, cut to a specific shape, or as a kiss-cut where the stickers remain attached to the backing.
Are you posting it too?
That’s possible; we have our own installation team in Lokeren. The whole point of this material is precisely that it isn’t necessary: it’s designed to stick by itself, even for someone doing it for the first time.
How much does an Easy Dot sticker cost?

What is the largest size?
No limit on length. For a full shop window, we work in strips that overlap slightly.
Why is Easy Dot more expensive than ordinary monomer?
Because the adhesive layer in small beads is more expensive to produce. It saves you time: fitting is quicker and sheets are rarely lost due to air bubbles.
What about the environmental aspect?
Easy Dot is made of PVC and is collected as such. An eco-friendly version of the same film, made from a PVC-free material, is available; please ask for it if this is specified in your tender documents.

If you need to put a sticker on your shop window or a wall and would prefer to apply it yourself, an Easy Dot sticker is made just for that. The adhesive layer isn’t a solid surface but consists of tiny dots, allowing air to escape from the sides rather than becoming trapped as a bubble beneath the film. Simply place the sticker against the window, peel it away if it’s crooked, and reposition it straight. It can be removed afterwards without leaving any adhesive residue, which is important if you’re renting the premises. The surface must, however, be clean and dust-free. Easy Dot, white or transparent
The adhesive layer consists of small dots rather than a solid layer. This means the film adheres without air bubbles and you can still reposition it whilst applying it.
Matt or gloss top coat
Matt for a calm, reflection-free image; glossy when you want the colours to appear deeper.
