Frequently asked questions about brochure displays
Can a leaflet display be placed outside?
No, these holders are intended for indoor use. The cardboard we use for them is not approved for outdoor use. If you need something to be displayed outdoors, please let us know and we’ll look into an alternative design.
How many containers can I combine?
From a single tray to a whole series arranged side by side and one above the other. The version in the ordering module features four landscape-oriented A4 trays. If you would like a different layout or different compartment heights, we can design one for you.
How do I put the holder together?
You can do this yourself in just a few simple steps. This page explains how to fold a tray shut. No tools are required.
Can the holder be mounted on the wall?
Yes, on a wall or on a counter or display stand. If you let us know in advance which of the two you’d prefer, we’ll take that into account when designing the shape.
Is the cardboard PVC-free?
Yes. The standard version is double-sided white display board with a dark core, so it does not contain PVC. This material scores four to five on the Ecoscore, and the holder can be disposed of with the paper after use.
Can I have a custom shape cut?
Yes. We’ll cut the holder to the shape you require and send you the cutting file in advance, so that your designer can work straight away within the correct outline. If you don’t have a designer, we’ll take care of the design based on your briefing.
What is the difference between this and a product display?
A leaflet display is a stand with trays from which visitors can help themselves. A product display holds the item itself, either on shelves or in compartments. For the latter, please see the product displays.
What changes when you’re printing a large run?
For large orders, we switch from digital printing to screen printing, one colour at a time. This pays off whenever a large number of identical holders are required, for example for a chain of retail outlets.
What is the largest size?
Up to 75 by 105 cm per sheet in 300-gram cardboard, and up to 1,600 by 3,050 mm in display cardboard. A leaflet holder is considerably smaller than that, as it needs to fit on a counter or against a wall.
How much does a leaflet display cost?
The version with four horizontal A4 trays is listed in our ordering module, where you can see the price straight away. For a custom layout, we’ll first draw up the cutting file and then provide a quote.
What about the environmental aspect?
Made entirely of cardboard, PVC-free, with an Ecoscore of four to five, and suitable for recycling as waste paper after use. That is the highest rating we achieve in this range.

Do you need leaflet holders for your reception area, waiting room or counter? Creafor can make a bespoke holder, with a single tray or with several trays arranged side by side and one above the other, so that each document has its own compartment and the rest don’t slide around when someone takes one out. If you don’t want to wait for a design, there’s a version with four landscape A4 compartments ready in the ordering module. As standard, we use double-sided white display board with a dark core. This material is PVC-free, light enough to hang on a wall and scores four to five on the EcoScore. If the holder is displaying the product itself rather than documents, you’re better off with the product displays.

Four horizontal A4 trays
The layout from the ordering module. Four trays stacked one above the other, each designed to hold a landscape-oriented A4 sheet, so that four leaflets remain visible side by side.

Display cardboard or 300-gram cardboard
Double-sided white display board, 1, 1.5 or 2 mm thick with a dark core, or cardboard weighing 300 grams, measuring up to 75 by 105 cm per sheet.
Printing and finishing
- Full-colour digital printing, or colour-by-colour screen printing for large print runs
