The sign on your façade that tells passers-by on the street what sort of business is located here.
For a shop, an office or a commercial building where it needs to stay up for years.
We’ll come and hang it up for you ourselves, even if it’s high up and you can’t reach it.
The EcoScore is our own assessment of the material’s environmental footprint, on a scale of 1 to 5. It says nothing about the quality, and the material must be recycled under the right conditions.
A façade sign is designed to remain in place for years, unlike a temporary sign for an event or a building site. We do not specify an exact number of years, as this depends on the orientation of the façade, the mounting method and the weather. However, Dibond is the material we use for long-term outdoor signage.
Yes, we do that every day, from a sign on a shop front to work high above a driveway. We visit the site in advance to take measurements and discuss straight away where the sign will be positioned and how it will be fixed, so that there’s no dispute about the dimensions afterwards.
Size and reading distance. A façade sign is read from the street and is therefore large and simple in design, with few words. A nameplate is hung next to a door or on a practice and is read from close up, which means more text can fit on it.
That’s possible, using milled lettering. We apply this directly to the façade, without any visible backing plate. A solid plate remains the simplest option when, in addition to the name, a logo, a line of text or contact details need to be included.
Dibond. This is an aluminium composite panel designed for long-term outdoor signage, which remains flat even in large formats. We reserve foam PVC for signs displayed indoors, as this material is not intended for outdoor use.
For Dibond, we can produce sheets up to 2050 x 4050 mm. If your façade is wider than this, we will use several panels side by side and ensure that the joints fall in a position where they do not detract from the design.
There is no standard option for façade signs in the ordering module, as the dimensions, material, fixing method and installation vary from façade to façade. Please provide us with the dimensions and a photo of the façade, and we will provide you with a quote. We can also visit you to take measurements on site.
Are you looking for a façade sign that’s legible from the street and will still look good years down the line? Creafor manufactures and installs façade signs using its own team and its own aerial work platform, so you don’t need to arrange for a ladder or a lift yourself. A façade sign is read from a distance – from a moving car or from the pavement – and that determines its design: few words, in large type, on a panel that remains flat. For outdoor use, we therefore use Dibond, the stiffest panel in our range. If your message is positioned inside or next to a door, and is read from close up, then take a look at nameplates. If you’d prefer individual letters applied directly to the brickwork rather than a full panel, then you’ve come to the right place at milling letters.
Please provide us with the plan or the dimensions, and tell us what needs to be included. We will assess the best options from a technical and budgetary perspective, and draw up a proposal covering design, production and installation.
