With a window, it’s all about light. The question isn’t what goes on the glass, but what’s allowed to pass through it: do you want to let light in but not allow people to see in; do you want to be able to see out; or do you simply want the window to be closed?.
Sandblast film It has the matt appearance of etched glass. It lets light through but prevents people from seeing in, and it lasts for up to five years. It is the classic choice for a meeting room or a surgery.
Squid It’s a bit different: a self-adhesive fabric rather than a film. From the inside, you can see out through it; from the outside, it’s not visible. It also lets less heat through, which is important for south-facing windows.
If the image is to appear to float without a white background, then there is transparent film. Please bear in mind what’s behind the window, as that will remain visible. Will you be applying the sticker from the inside or the outside? Let us know, and we’ll flip the print to create a mirror image.
