Cardboard is the only type of sheet material in our range that scores 5 out of 5 on our own eco-scale of 1 to 5. It is made entirely of paper fibres, can be recycled as waste paper after use, and contains no PVC. However, there is one limitation: cardboard is for indoor use only.
The choice is about thickness and what you do with it. EE corrugated cardboard The 1.7 or 3 mm version is the thinnest, with a fine rib so that the ridges do not show up in the image. Dispa The 3.8 mm blade is solid rather than corrugated, ensuring that the cutting edge remains clean even when cutting out a shape.
Solidboard It ranges from 1 to 5 mm and is equally strong throughout its entire thickness, so even a milled-out window remains clean. Reboard is the heaviest, ranging from 5 to 25 mm, and is stiff enough to stand on its own or to be used to make furniture.
Everything here can be milled and creased in a single pass. A crease line allows a flat sheet to be folded into a box, a column or a display, saving you a step in the assembly process. If the panel is to remain outdoors, you’ll find yourself at the plastic sheets out.
