Screen-printed stickers

At what print run does screen printing become cost-effective?

Screen printing is not a type of sticker but a different printing method. Instead of creating the image digitally, each colour is printed separately through a screen. This requires a separate setup for each colour, after which each subsequent sheet costs almost nothing.

That’s where the difference lies. For a handful of stickers, digital printing is always cheaper. From a few hundred of the same stickers onwards, the situation is reversed, and the larger the run, the greater the difference. For a run of five thousand screen-printed stickers When it comes to two colours, there’s no debate.

There is another reason. Screen printing applies a thicker layer of ink, so a solid area in a corporate colour appears more opaque and richer than with digital printing. With a photograph or a gradient, it’s the other way round, as digital printing has the advantage in those cases.

Please let us know the print run and the number of colours, and we will work out the cost of both side by side. If it is a small run, please see the standard stickers.
