A magnetic sticker is a printed magnetic sheet that you can stick onto a metal surface and remove again without the need for tools. It leaves no adhesive residue, so you can stick the same sticker onto a different car tomorrow.
For a delivery van, you should use the heaviest film, which is 0.85 mm thick. This type has been successfully tested in rainy conditions on motorways. On a stationary surface, such as a fridge or a shop shelf, 0.5 or 0.6 mm is sufficient.
Not if you look after it. Remove the sticker from the car every week and clean both the bodywork and the black magnetic strip. This will prevent dirt trapped under the strip from damaging the paintwork due to prolonged contact. Do not use harsh cleaning products.
Better not. Remove the sticker before you drive into the car wash. The brushes and the high-pressure jet will cause the edge of the film to come loose.
The product data sheet states five years. This applies under normal use and with weekly maintenance. A film that remains on the car for months on end and is never cleaned will not last that long.
