Your name and opening hours on your shop window.
Individual letters and a logo, without a rectangle or background around them.
The same text on glass, on a wall, on a sign or on a vehicle.
Lettering is text or a logo that is cut out of film rather than printed onto a sticker. The letters are cut out, the excess film is peeled away, and what remains is applied to the surface in one go using application film. The result looks as though the letters are applied directly to the glass or wall.
A sticker has a border or a background, whereas lettering does not. With lettering, you only see the shape of the letters, and the background around them remains visible. If you would like a fully printed area on glass, please see our window stickers.
Yes. All the films in this range are suitable for outdoor use; they differ in terms of how long they last. For a façade or a vehicle, choose polymer or cast vinyl; for a temporary message, monomer is sufficient.
From 2 years for monomeric print vinyl to 7 years for cast vinyl. One-way vision has a lifespan of 3 years and magnetic film 5 years. The surface and the side facing the sun are factors, so please specify where the lettering will be placed and how long it needs to remain in place.
Yes, with our own team and our own aerial work platform, by appointment at your premises. To ensure a good result, the surface must be clean, dry and not cold. We’ll also come and take measurements first if the dimensions haven’t yet been finalised.
This works for small lettering. The letters are on an application sheet, so you apply them in one go and then peel off the sheet. For large areas, tall façades or an entire vehicle, it’s best to have it fitted professionally, as you won’t be able to remove any air bubbles or misalignments afterwards.
It will stick to a smooth, painted wall, mind you. Foil won’t stick to rough plaster or brick. For decorative lettering indoors, there’s a separate page on wall stickers, which goes into more detail about the surface.
Glow-in-the-dark film is available, as well as reflective and fluorescent film. What is feasible in your case depends on the colour and size of the letters, so please specify in your enquiry what the lettering is intended for.
Lettering is not listed as a standard option in the ordering module, as the price is determined by the text, the film and the surface. Please send us the design and the dimensions, and we will calculate the price for you.
From a single item onwards – and with lettering, it’s almost always a one-off. Where there is a series of branches or vehicles in the same corporate identity, we take the total number into account.
Limited to the width of the film roll. Individual letters can be larger, however, as we plot them one by one and align them on site.
This page is about letters and text printed onto a background. If you’re looking for full vehicle wrapping, please see the vehicle lettering section. If you’re looking for a separate image that you apply yourself, please see the stickers section.
If you’re looking for lettering, the answer depends mainly on where the letters will be applied. Your name on a shop window, opening hours on an entrance door, a logo on a façade panel or text on a van are technically the same job. We cut out the letters from coloured film, peel away everything that needs to be removed and apply the whole design in one go using application film, ensuring the spacing is correct and that only the letters are visible. Creafor has been doing this in-house since 1994 and sends its own team to the site. If it’s for a vehicle, please go to vehicle lettering. If you’re looking for glass, you’ll find our range at window stickers. If you want the letters to really stand out from the surface – in terms of thickness – then you’ve come to the right place milling letters.
Please provide us with the plan or the dimensions, and tell us what needs to be included. We will assess the best options from a technical and budgetary perspective, and draw up a proposal covering design, production and installation.

The colour is in the film itself. The letters are cut out and peeled away; no printing is involved. This produces the cleanest edge possible, as there is no background showing through.
