Stop people walking past and invite them in.
Your daily menu, your offer of the week or an arrow pointing to your entrance, at eye level by the door.
Put it outside every morning and bring it back in every evening, with a different message each time.
The eco-score is our own assessment of the material’s environmental footprint, on a scale of 1 to 5. It says nothing about quality, and the material must be recycled under the right conditions. Several materials may be listed on this page. We list the material with the lowest environmental footprint, not an average.

Orders are placed via printvis.be, our own ordering system. There, you can calculate the price based on your chosen size and quantity. You create your own design using the editor within the system, so you do not need to provide a print-ready file.
A pavement sign is a freestanding sign that you place on the pavement in front of your business, supported by its own legs. You put it outside in the morning and bring it back inside in the evening. It usually features a special offer, a menu or an arrow.
There are separate indoor and outdoor systems, available in black or silver. The outdoor version is designed to be left outside. In stormy weather, it is best to bring the sign inside, as a pavement sign is freestanding and catches the wind.
The sizes are B2 (500 by 700 mm), A1 (594 by 841 mm), B1 (700 by 1000 mm), and, for outdoor use, A0 (841 by 1189 mm). If the sign is situated along a busy street, choose the largest size.
Yes. We apply a black chalkboard varnish so that you can write with chalk, or a whiteboard varnish so that you can use a marker pen. If you’d prefer not to, we can supply the board fully printed without a writing surface.
With a poster display system, you simply slide a printed poster into a blank frame and change it yourself. A bespoke sign is fully printed and can also be milled to a custom shape. For small quantities, a poster display system is usually the more practical option.
Fully bespoke pavement signs are available from 25 units, with chalk varnish, whiteboard varnish or without a writing surface. If you only need a few, we will mount a poster in a blank frame.
That depends on the material and how the sign is looked after, so we don’t specify a number of years. If you’d like to give the print extra protection, we’ll apply a UV varnish to the sign.
The pavement signs are available in several ranges within our ordering module: the indoor and outdoor poster systems, the Reboard event panel, and our in-house production (minimum order of 25 items). You can choose your design and see the price straight away.
Up to 1600 by 3000 mm in Reboard, 1222 by 2500 mm in plywood and 1000 by 1400 mm in polystyrene. In practice, a sign placed on the pavement is rarely larger than 70 by 100 cm, as it needs to remain upright in the wind.
A poster system with a filled base does. A flat panel without a base does not, and that is why we use the base-mounted system rather than a loose panel.
All three boards are PVC-free. Reboard scores 5 out of 5 and can be recycled as waste paper, whilst plywood scores 3 out of 5. See the materials page for the comparison.
With a poster display system, you can – and that’s exactly what it’s designed for. You simply click the frame open, slide the old poster out and the new one in. With a fully bespoke sign, the image is embedded in the panel, so you replace the entire sign.
Whether you have a terrace facing the street, a shop in a pedestrianised high street or a stall at an event, you’ll want to catch the attention of passers-by before they’ve walked past. A pavement sign does just that. It stands freestanding on the pavement, at eye level, and displays your daily menu, your offer of the week or an arrow pointing to your entrance. For a message that changes from time to time, choose a system where you can change the poster yourself, available in an indoor version or a weatherproof outdoor version, in black or silver, up to A0 size for outdoor use. If the text changes every day, we’ll apply a thin layer of black chalk varnish or whiteboard varnish to the board for orders of 25 or more, so your staff can write on it themselves. For events, there are Reboard panels, which you can simply put in the paper recycling afterwards.
