Frequently asked questions about the ‘inhaker’
What exactly is ‘De Inhaker’?
A system of upright posts with a base, into which signs are inserted. The post remains in place; the sign is changed. This allows you to update the signage without having to dismantle anything.
Can I hire the posts instead of buying them?
Yes. The booking module offers hire periods of seven days or more, as well as the option to purchase the same posts. Those who hold an event twice a year usually hire them, whilst those who organise something every month tend to buy them.
What heights are there?
Posts measuring 750, 975, 1950, 2475 and 3000 mm, each with a base. The short posts are used for signs at eye level along a walkway, whilst the tall ones are used to rise above the crowd.
Can De Inhaker stay outside?
The stand is made from recycled PVC and is suitable for outdoor use. The sign determines the rest: a cardboard sign is for indoor use only; for outdoor use, choose a sign material that can withstand damp. Position the display out of the direct path of the wind.
Can I use it to build a wall?
Yes. By combining several poles, you can create a U-shaped or H-shaped arrangement with panels in between, printed on one side or both sides, in the same five heights.
What is the difference between this and a Reboard wall?
De Inhaker is a reusable pole system in which you replace the signs. A Reboard wall is made entirely of cardboard and can be disposed of with waste paper once it’s no longer needed. If you want to reuse the same décor for years on end, De Inhaker is the better choice.
Do you print the signs yourselves?
Yes, made to measure, in cardboard or Forex, and we’ll ensure they fit the pole’s profile perfectly. We print and cut them in Lokeren.
Is it possible to have some lighting?
A black LED spotlight is available with the system, either for hire or for purchase, to illuminate a sign or a wall.
How much does *De Inhaker* cost?
The posts are listed in our ordering module, available both for hire on a seven-day basis and for sale, and you can see the price straight away. We’ll make the signs to measure, as they’ll be tailored to your specifications.
Rent or buy?
Rent them for a one-off event; buy them for a display that’s set up every season. You’ll then replace the signs each time, whilst the posts remain in place.
Description The Inhaker
The Inhaker is a signpost system: upright posts mounted on a base, into which you can slide printed signs and remove them again. This solves the problem that crops up at every event, namely that the signage still needs to be changed after everything has already been set up. An arrow pointing to registration, a room number that changes, a sponsor joining on day two: you simply swap the sign and the post stays in place. The posts are available in 750, 975, 1950, 2475 and 3000 mm, and you can place them individually or combine them to form a U-shaped or H-shaped wall, with signs on one side or both sides. The upright itself is made from recycled PVC and will last for years; we print the signs to your specifications.
