Frequently asked questions about printed folding or party tents
Can the tent be left outside when it rains?
That’s what it’s designed for. The fabric is waterproof polyester and weather-resistant, and it protects against both sun and rain. How long you can leave the tent unattended depends mainly on the wind conditions at your site.
Is only the roof printed, or are the side panels printed as well?
Either is possible. The roof and side panels are digitally printed in full colour, so you can choose how many surfaces to have printed. Many customers opt for the roof plus one rear panel and leave the sides unprinted.
What sizes are available?
There are various sizes available, depending on the location you are allocated. It is best to enquire about which sizes are currently in stock, as this list is not included in the product details on this page.
How long does a printed pop-up tent last?
We don’t put a figure on that in terms of years, as there’s no set figure for it. In practice, wear and tear mainly depends on the number of times the tent is pitched and taken down, and on how long it remains outside.
Does Creafor make the tent itself?
The folding frame is purchased from a supplier. The printing on the canvas and the finishing touches are carried out in our own workshop in Lokeren, where production has been taking place since 1994.
Who will pitch the tent on site?
You do that yourself; that’s what the folding system is for. The tent is delivered printed and ready for use, and is packed away in its cover again once you’ve finished.
What’s the difference between this and a beach flag?
A pop-up tent provides shelter and space to stand behind or underneath. A beach flag does not provide shelter, but is taller and visible from further away. In a busy area, many customers place the two side by side.
Can I calculate the price in the order module?
There is no option for a printed pop-up tent in the module. Please let us know which size you require and how many side panels need to be printed, and we will provide you with a quote.
How much does a printed pop-up tent cost?
Folding tents are not listed in the ordering module, as the price is determined by the size and the number of printed panels. Please let us know the size and which sides you require, and we will calculate the price for you.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Per tent. For a club or organisation with multiple pitches, we will take the total number into account.
Can I order a new roof on its own at a later date?
Yes, and that’s the cheapest way to replace it. The frame stays the same; you just replace the canvas. Please do let us know the make and size of your frame, as the mounting method varies.
