As the fabric is printed on 3.2-metre rolls, there is no limit to its length. A wall that fits within that width will therefore be covered in a single piece, and you won’t see any seams between the panels.
No. The product data sheet does not approve Airtex for outdoor use; it is intended for indoor use. For a piece of fabric to be hung outdoors, please look for a banner.
Yes. It is polyester, recyclable, made from 100% recycled material, and has an Ecoscore of 4. If your specifications explicitly require PVC-free wall covering, then this is the material you need.
As a wall covering, Airtex is applied to the wall with wallpaper paste, just like wallpaper. The backing is grey, so you’re working on an even surface.
A wall sticker made from wallpaper or self-adhesive fabric is usually cheaper and is sufficient for smaller projects or a temporary display. Choose Airtex when the wall is large and there must be no seams, or when PVC is not an option.
It weighs 240 grams. We print on rolls 3.2 metres wide. The material specifications also state a maximum width of 3 metres, so please check the working width before you create your design.
The ordering module features PVC-free fabric with edging and eyelets at intervals of 20, 25, 30, 40 or 50 cm, or as specified in your file, and with a tunnel hem at the top and bottom or on the left and right.
A member of staff will measure the wall at your premises so that the panel can be made to measure. Our own team will then install it, including at height.
Airtex is listed as an option in our ordering module, where you can enter your own dimensions and see the price straight away. For a full wall including installation, we will provide a bespoke quote following a site survey.
There is no minimum area requirement. For a small wall, however, it is worth considering the installation, as the cost of measuring will then be a more significant factor.
It’s a wall covering, so it’s designed to stay in place. If you want to remove it later, it will come off with wallpaper paste, just like wallpaper.
Because it is PVC-free, made from 100 per cent recycled polyester and can itself be collected for recycling. On our scale, that’s 4 out of 5, compared with 1 for a PVC fabric. The ranges are shown side by side on the materials page.
Airtex is a fabric and does not tear when being put up, which is the biggest risk with paper on a high wall. It is also water-repellent and scratch-resistant, so it withstands heavy footfall in a corridor or lobby better.
If you need to cover an entire wall seamlessly – whether in an office, a reception area or a hotel lobby – Airtex is the material that makes it possible. Creafor prints it on 3.2-metre-wide rolls, with no limit on length, so that the wall is covered in a single piece rather than in strips laid side by side. The fabric is PVC-free, recyclable as polyester and has an Ecoscore of 4, which is a decisive factor whenever specifications or a procurement policy exclude PVC. The fabric weighs 240 grams, is water-repellent and scratch-resistant, and is applied using wallpaper paste. Airtex is intended for indoor use. If you’re dealing with a smaller wall, or a temporary display that you’ll be putting up and taking down yourself, you’re better off with a standard wall sticker.
