Frequently asked questions about counter with printer
Will a cardboard counter hold up?
Its rigidity comes from the waffle structure within the sheet: a honeycomb core is sandwiched between two outer layers, making the panel much stiffer than ordinary cardboard. In practice, this means the counter simply stands upright and does not shift on its own. Our product data sheets do not specify the maximum weight the top can bear. If you intend to place a till, a screen or any other heavy item on it, please check this in advance.
Can the counter be placed outside?
No. Reboard is designed for indoor use. Moisture penetrates the cardboard, causing it to lose its rigidity, even if the counter is situated under a canopy. For an outdoor reception area, it is better to choose a different material.
What should I do with the reception desk after the event?
Put it in with the waste paper. It’s made of cardboard, is PVC-free and has an Ecoscore of 5 out of 5, so you won’t be left with any plastic waste and you won’t need to clear storage space for a counter that you won’t need again until next year.
Which models can I choose from?
There are three versions available in the ordering module: an oval top, a large rectangular top and a small rectangular top. The oval top is often chosen for a reception area where people approach from both sides, whilst the rectangular top is suitable for placement against a wall.
Can I have my own design on the counter?
Yes, the counter is digitally printed in full colour across the entire visible surface. If you supply the file yourself, our team will check it for dimensions, bleed and cut-off lines. If you don’t have a design, our design team will create one based on your briefing.
What is the difference between this and a Reboard wall?
A reboard wall is a freestanding wall that encloses your stand or serves as a backdrop. The reception desk is the piece of furniture where you stand and where your visitors check in. At many stands, they are placed side by side, with the same visual theme on both.
Will you set up the counter on site?
The counter is designed to be easy to assemble yourself. If you’d rather not do it yourself, our installation team will come along at a time agreed with you, even to an exhibition hall. Please let us know when placing your order so that we can factor this into our schedule.
Can I order a single counter?
Yes. The three models are listed in the ordering module; you simply choose one of them and order them individually. So even if you only need one counter for a single open day, this is the right place for you.
What does a cardboard counter consist of?
It’s strong enough for leaflets, a laptop and someone leaning on it. If it’s going to bear any weight, or if you’re going to put a till with a drawer on it, please let us know in advance so we can reinforce the top.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Per box. For a run of items with the same print, for example one per branch, the price per box is reduced.

The display surface is fully printed, so your name or campaign runs across the entire front rather than on a separate sign next to it. The counter is constructed from Reboard panels, and it’s this cardboard that explains why you’ll find it light enough to move yourself, why it’s easy to set up, and why, after the event, there’s nothing left over that you’ll have to store for a whole year.
