Frequently asked questions about mirror stickers
Is a mirror sticker the same as a mirror?
No. It is a self-adhesive film with a reflective top layer, not glass. You stick them onto a flat surface, which can also be an existing mirror if you want to put a message or a design on it.
Can a mirror sticker be put up outside?
No, this film is intended for indoor use. If the sticker is to be placed on the outside of a window, or will be exposed to sun and rain, please choose a film that is designed for that purpose and have a look at the window stickers.
What colours is the film available in?
In silver and gold. Both have a mirror-finish top layer, which sets them apart from a standard glossy sticker in a grey or yellow colour.
How long does a mirror sticker last?
Indoors, the film will last up to two years. How long it actually looks good depends on how often the surface is cleaned and what product is used.
How do I apply it?
Apply to a dry, flat and grease-free surface. Do not use soap and water. For lettering or a logo, we supply the entire design on application film, so that the spacing between the elements remains correct during application.
Can I remove it again later?
The adhesive is permanent, so the sticker is designed to stay in place. If you already know that the decoration is only temporary, please let us know, as we can then look at a film that’s easier to remove.
Is the film PVC-free?
Yes, this mirror film is PVC-free. That’s not always the case, as most types of vinyl used for stickers aren’t.
Do you apply the mirror stickers?
You can easily apply small-format stickers yourself. If it involves a large surface area, a chain of shops or precisely aligned lettering, our in-house installation team will come and carry out the work as agreed.
How much does a mirror sticker cost?

What is the minimum order quantity?
From a single piece. Individual letters in mirror foil are usually ordered in sets.
Can I have letters or a logo cut out of it?
Yes, that’s the most common use. We cut the shape out of the film and supply it with application tape, so that the letters stay in place when being applied.
Why apply it dry rather than wet?
The adhesive on this film is not designed to allow for movement. Water would remain trapped between the mirror layer and the surface, and this would remain visible.
Why is mirror film PVC-free?
Because it is made using a different process to standard vinyls. It is, in fact, one of the few films in our range where this applies; see the materials page.
Description Mirror sticker
If you want a reflective surface in a room without hanging up an actual mirror, a mirror sticker is the simplest solution. You stick the film onto glass, a door, a flat wall or even an existing mirror, after which the surface reflects the light. In shops and hairdressing salons, this is mainly used for decorative purposes or to display a message on the mirror, whilst in offices it is more commonly used as a nameplate or sign on a door. The film is available in silver and gold, is PVC-free and is applied dry to a flat surface. It is designed for indoor use and will last up to two years.
