From the outside, people can see your message; from the inside, you simply look out.
Privacy in a shop or an office, without losing any natural light.
A window that lets in too much sun or attracts too much attention has been made less conspicuous.
You’ll be taken straight to the calculation module, where you can enter the size and quantity yourself and see the price straight away.
Orders are placed via printvis.be, our own ordering system. There, you can calculate the price based on your chosen size and quantity. You create your own design using the editor within the system, so you do not need to provide a print-ready file.
Yes. The film is perforated, so you look out through the holes. From the outside, the eye is drawn to the printed side rather than the holes, making the print appear solid from that perspective.
The effect is based on the difference in light between outside and inside. During the day, when it is lighter outside, nobody can see inside. In the evening, when there is light on inside whilst it is dark outside, the situation is reversed. If you want to avoid this, place a light or a curtain opposite the window.
A window sticker is an opaque film; nobody can see through it, not even you. One-way vision exists solely to allow a view through. If you simply want to display a message on the glass and visibility isn’t an issue, then go for a standard window sticker.
The monomer version has a lifespan of 2 years, whilst the polymer version lasts for 5 years. The one-way long version has a lifespan of 3 years and the two-way vision version lasts for 2 years. All versions are suitable for outdoor use.
Make sure it’s dry, as you can’t apply perforated film whilst it’s wet. Work from top to bottom and smooth the film out from the centre towards the edges. If you’re unsure, let our team do it for you – even at height.
One-way vision film is commonly used on rear windows for advertising. The Highway Code specifies which windows on a vehicle may be covered with film, so please check the regulations for your type of vehicle.
Yes, straight or shaped – both are available to order. So you can also simply place a strip across the centre of the window or cut a shape around your logo.
This is a translucent version with a 70/30 ratio instead of 60/40. If you place a light behind it, you get a backlit effect and the image is visible from both sides. Handy for a window that needs to remain in use in the evening.
One-way vision film is available in several variants in our ordering module, where you can enter your own dimensions and quantity and see the price straight away. We charge separately for installation at height.
Available by the piece, even for a single pane.
Limited to the width of the roll. For a full-width shop window, we use panels that fit snugly together, with the seam positioned on a window mullion where possible.
For an application lasting a few months, a monomer is sufficient. If it needs to remain in place for years, a polymer is required. If you want light to pass through and the image to be visible from both sides, ‘two-way vision’ film is the right choice.
If you want to cover a window without losing your view, a one-way vision film is the solution. From the outside, passers-by see your print or a solid colour; from the inside, you can see out through the perforations whilst daylight continues to enter. This works on a street-level office window, on a shop window that doesn’t need to be fully open, on a vacant unit and on the rear window of a commercial vehicle, provided the Highway Code allows it. The film also immediately reduces the intensity of the sun, which makes a difference in an office on the sunny side. If you’re not concerned with seeing through but simply want to display a message on the glass, then you’re better off with a standard window sticker.
