The eco-score is our own assessment of the material’s environmental footprint, on a scale of 1 to 5. It says nothing about quality, and the material must be recycled under the right conditions. Several materials may be listed on this page. We list the material with the lowest environmental footprint, not an average.

Order plastic mats

You’ll be taken straight to the calculation module, where you can enter the size and quantity yourself and see the price straight away.

Orders are placed via printvis.be, our own ordering system. There, you can calculate the price based on your chosen size and quantity. You create your own design using the editor within the system, so you do not need to provide a print-ready file.

Frequently asked questions about plastic underlays

What’s the difference between this and a bag mat?

The size and purpose. A plastic coaster sits on a desk or counter for months or years and carries information that someone looks up. A bag coaster is small, goes under a cup or a glass, and is either given away or thrown away.

Will the underlay stay in place?

Yes, that’s what the underlays are for. You can choose between a non-slip layer, a synthetic foam layer and a cork layer. On a smooth desk surface, the non-slip layer provides the best grip.

Can I change the contents myself?

Yes, the version with a slot and a transparent window. You can slide a sheet into it yourself and replace it whenever your prices or promotions change. This gives you a permanent display with temporary content.

What sizes and shapes are available?

Mats are cut to any size and shape, up to 80 x 120 cm. For the PVC-free version, the maximum size is 70 x 100 cm.

Can a mat be left outside?

According to the product sheet, the material can be used indoors and outdoors, but in practice it is an indoor product. It is designed for a desk, a till or a counter.

Is it digital printing or conventional printing?

That depends on your print run. Small runs are printed digitally in full colour, whilst large runs are screen-printed colour by colour. Based on your print run, we’ll recommend the cheaper of the two options.

How much does a mat cost?

The price depends on the size, material, finish and quantity. There is no specific variant for this product in the ordering module, so please request a quote, providing these four details.

How do I submit my file?

Ready for printing and to the same size as the backing sheet. If you are using a window, please specify where it should be placed so that no text or logo is obscured by it.

What is the largest size?

Eighty by 120 cm. A desk mat is considerably smaller than that, but it also means that a non-standard large format can be produced from a single sheet.

What about the environmental aspect?

The polypropylene version scores 2 out of 5 and is PVC-free; the cork underlay scores even better. The PVC film scores 1. Ask for Priplak or cork if that matters.

Description Plastic coasters

Are you looking for plastic mats for a desk, a counter or a showroom? The mat is one of the few items that stays exactly where you put it: at the till, at a distributor’s premises, or on the desk of the person who orders your products. That’s why they usually feature something people are looking for – such as a price list, a parts list or a range of sizes – rather than just a logo. If your campaign is only running for a quarter, choose the version with a slot and a transparent window, as this allows you to slide in a new sheet yourself, meaning the mat will remain the same for years. Printing is done on 0.3 or 0.4 mm anti-glare film or on polypropylene, with a non-slip coating, a plastic foam layer or a cork layer underneath. If you’re looking for the small size that fits under a cup or a glass, then you’ve come to the right place at bag coasters.

Materials for Plastic coasters

For the entire desktop

A mat covers the workstation and protects the worktop, displaying your image within the field of vision of those who use it every day. That is the difference between this and a mouse mat, who is wearing only the mouse.

Underlay of your choice

Non-slip coating, synthetic foam or cork. Cork is the most visually appealing and the most environmentally friendly option, whilst foam is the softest against the arm.

With a window for interchangeable inserts

A slot with a transparent window over it. You slide a sheet underneath and replace it when the contents change.
