A coaster for your visitor’s coffee, with your name on it.
Something small that fits in a box, a bag or a welcome pack.
A message that only appears when a hot cup is placed on it.
The eco-score is our own assessment of the material’s environmental footprint, on a scale of 1 to 5. It says nothing about quality, and the material must be recycled under the right conditions. Several materials may be listed on this page. We list the material with the lowest environmental footprint, not an average.
You’ll be taken straight to the calculation module, where you can enter the size and quantity yourself and see the price straight away.
Orders are placed via printvis.be, our own ordering system. There, you can calculate the price based on your chosen size and quantity. You create your own design using the editor within the system, so you do not need to provide a print-ready file.
Size and use. A cup or glass coaster is placed under a cup or glass and is small enough to hand out or include in a parcel. A plastic mat covers part of a desk or counter and displays information that people look up.
Paper is disposable and the logical choice for an event or a large print run. Plastic is washable and remains in place. Both are listed as separate options in the ordering module.
The ink reacts to heat. The message becomes legible as soon as a warm cup is placed on the mat and disappears again once everything has cooled down.
Yes. A straight-edged shape with rounded corners is the most common, but a completely round shape or a custom shape is also possible.
That depends on the material. The cardboard version is not listed in our product details as being suitable for outdoor use, whereas the plastic version is. So, for a terrace or an outdoor bar, you should choose the plastic version.
Our materials list specifies for each version whether printing is on the top or bottom side. Please state in your enquiry that you require double-sided printing, and the material will be selected accordingly.
Yes. Both the beer mat cardboard and the polypropylene version are PVC-free. Furthermore, the cardboard is the material with the highest Ecoscore in this report.
To the size of the mat, with a contour line if the shape differs from a rectangle. We check the size, bleed and contour lines before production begins.
From a single unit for a sample. In practice, beer mats are ordered in batches of a thousand, and the price per unit drops significantly at that quantity.
The beer mat is made of cardboard and scores 4 out of 5, the polypropylene version 2 and the PVC film 1. For a single evening, cardboard is the logical choice; for a mat that stays in place, polypropylene is best.
Would you like some bag liners featuring your logo, for your reception area, a welcome event or to include in a gift pack? It’s a small gesture with a big impact, because anyone sitting at your table will be looking at that little square for half an hour. That’s why a short message works better than a four-line explanation. There’s also a version with thermochromic ink, where the text only becomes legible when a warm cup is placed on it – and almost everyone notices that. In the ordering module, two options are listed side by side: disposable paper coasters and plastic coasters that you can wash and reuse. Beer mat cardboard is the logical choice for an event, whilst plastic is better suited to a counter that will last for years. If you need a larger surface for a desk or a till, take a look at plastic coasters.

The disposable paper version, like the ones you find on a bar counter. It soaks up moisture and is disposed of with the waste paper at the end of the evening.
Polypropylene in thicknesses ranging from 500 to 1800 µm, PVC-free. Or anti-reflective film with a rubber or non-slip coating, with the print applied to the underside so that the image does not wear away beneath the glasses.
