Frequently asked questions about pop-up wall

How long does it take to set up a pop-up wall?

The display will be set up in a quarter of an hour. Simply pull the frame open and hang the printed banner strips on it – no need for two people to do this. Do make sure to place the frame on a flat surface, so that the strips line up neatly.

Straight or curved – which will you choose?

The straight model is 192, 252, 301 or 341 cm wide and fits snugly against an existing exhibition wall. The curved version, also known as the parabolic model, is 197, 270, 343 or 417 cm wide and encloses your stand area slightly more. Both are 224 cm high.

What is the difference between this and a zipper wall?

With a pop-up wall, your image is displayed on banner strips mounted on a foldable frame. With a zipper wall, the print wraps around the frame as a single piece of fabric. If you don’t want any seams in your image, the latter is the better option.

Can the wall be placed outside as well?

We usually set up this wall indoors, in a hall, a room or a shop. Whether you can set it up outdoors depends on the wind and the ground conditions at your location, so it’s best to check this with us in advance.

What else is available apart from a standard full-colour print?

There are films such as reflective, fluorescent, phosphorescent or glow-in-the-dark, mirror film, carbon film, sandblasted film with a print and translucent film with a print. In addition, a protective laminate is available in matt, satin or gloss finishes, for short- or long-term use.

Does Creafor install the wall on site?

That’s possible, thanks to our own installation team who work on site every day. Delivery and installation may or may not be carried out by Creafor – the choice is yours. If you’re putting the wall up yourself, everything you need is included in the transport case.

Can I work out the price online?

There is currently no option for the pop-up wall in the ordering module. Simply specify the model and width you require, and you will be given a price.

Who will prepare my file for printing?

Creafor provides a layout plan for the wall, so you know where the strips will be positioned. If you’d prefer to leave that to us, the design team will prepare your file for printing and carry out a file check to verify the dimensions, bleed, outline paths and transparency.

How much does a pop-up wall cost?

The pop-up wall is not listed as a standard option in the order module, as the width, model and case vary from job to job. Please let us know which model and width you require, and we will work out the price for you.

What is the minimum order quantity?

From a wall. Anyone exhibiting at several trade fairs at the same time sometimes orders two in the same design, and in that case the number counts towards the total.

Will I be able to replace just the circuit board later on?

Yes. The frame stays in place; we replace the banner panels. That is why, in the long run, a pop-up wall works out cheaper than a wall that you have completely remade every year.

Description Pop-up wall

If you need to set up your exhibition stand quickly, a pop-up wall is the simplest option for a back wall. You simply pull the frame open, hang the printed banner panels on it, and the whole thing is up in a quarter of an hour. Creafor sources the frame itself, whilst the printing and covering are carried out in Lokeren, ensuring the colours run continuously across the full width. Do make sure to place the frame on a level surface, otherwise the strips won’t align neatly. You can choose between a straight model or a curved parabolic design, depending on how much exhibition space you wish to enclose. If you’re looking for a wall where the print wraps around the frame like a canvas, take a look at the zipper wall. If a narrow wall next to a bar or in a corridor is sufficient, then a roll-up banner cheaper and quicker to take with you.
