Frequently asked questions about table displays
Can a table display be placed outside as well?
These displays are designed for indoor use. Display board, Forex and the films won’t withstand rain and sun for very long. If the sign is to be placed outdoors on a terrace, please ask for a version made from a weather-resistant material.
What is the minimum order quantity for table displays?
Minimum order of five items. You can choose between a standard sign with a backing or a design tailored entirely to your product or message.
What’s the difference between this and a wobbler?
A wobbler hangs from a spring attached to a shelf and moves as people walk past. A table display stands still on a horizontal surface, at the height where people pay. The choice therefore depends on the location, not the size.
How does that layer of chalk work?
The printed sign features a layer on which you can write with chalk or a chalk pen and then wipe it off again. Your logo and fixed text remain printed; you only need to write the variable part yourself.
How does the sign stay upright on the counter?
With a backrest that folds down or is attached at the back, or with a footrest that holds the board in place. For a wider board, we choose a support that protrudes further.
Can the display be shaped to match my product?
Yes. We mill the cutting shape in-house, so a silhouette or a cut-out is possible. For a run of a few dozen, this is just as straightforward as producing a rectangle.
Do I need to supply my file in a print-ready format myself?
That’s fine; we’ll then check it for size, transparency smoothing, contour lines and bleed. If you only have an idea and a logo, our design team will draw up the layout and cutting template for you.
Will you be putting up the table displays?
No, you set them up yourself. We deliver them ready-made and folded, either to your premises or distributed across your sales outlets.
How much does a table display cost?
Please note what the ordering module is based on: the block on this page calculates the cost of the cardboard tables, not the sign on the counter. For a table display, please specify the size, the print run and whether a custom die-cut or a chalk coating is required, and we will then recalculate the cost.
What is the largest size?
Up to 80 by 120 cm in foil. In practice, a table display remains small, as it is read at close range by someone who is already standing at the counter. If it’s any larger, you’re looking at a shop display.
What about the environmental aspect?
The polypropylene version is PVC-free, whereas the PVC film and Forex are not. For a sign that stays up for weeks, this makes little difference, but for a weekly promotion with a large print run, it does.

Materials for Table displays
Forex 1, 2 or 3 mm
The usual material for a display board on a counter. Stiff enough to stand upright, thin enough not to get in the way.
Display cardboard with a dark core
White on both sides, in 1, 1.5 or 2 mm thicknesses. The dark core highlights the cut edge, which makes a small sign look even sharper.
With a chalk coating
A surface on which you can write and then wipe away your writing. For a daily price or a suggestion that changes every day.
Plexi
Transparent, white or coloured – for those who want a glossier sign.
