Visitors who can find your entrance, your car park or the right department straight away.
Signage that lasts for years, even in wind and rain.
A single set of signs that makes sense of your entire site, from the gate to the reception desk.
The eco-score is our own assessment of the material’s environmental footprint, on a scale of 1 to 5. It says nothing about quality, and the material must be recycled under the right conditions. Several materials may be listed on this page. We list the material with the lowest environmental footprint, not an average.
With the right material, yes. Dibond is designed for signage that is displayed outdoors for long periods, whilst we apply a UV-resistant varnish to polystyrene. The choice of board depends on how long the sign needs to remain in place and how much it is exposed to the elements.
The timeframe. A signboard points the way to an event for a weekend and can then be removed. A signpost remains in place; it forms part of the building and is therefore made of Dibond and mounted on a post. The difference therefore lies in the lifespan and the material, not in the shape.
Yes, have your signposts printed on both sides. That way, you can use the same sign on both sides of a driveway or a junction, and you’ll only need to order half as many.
Reflective film is the standard solution for permanent use alongside a road or a driveway. There is also phosphorescent film – which glows in the dark – and fluorescent film, which makes a sign more conspicuous during the day.
Yes. Fixing materials and mounting systems are included in the quote, and our project managers will work with you to determine which post is suitable for the ground conditions. We will drill holes to the diameter required by your system.
That’s possible. Creafor has its own installation team with its own aerial work platform, so we can install signs that are high up or difficult to reach ourselves. You can choose whether to have us handle the delivery and installation or to do it yourself.
We supply Dibond in sizes up to a maximum of 2050 x 4050 mm. In practice, however, a sign is usually smaller, as it needs to be legible at a glance from a moving car.
Signposts are not available as ready-made items in our ordering system, as the material, size and mounting method vary depending on the site. Please let us know the number of signs, the required dimensions and where they are to be installed, and we will provide you with a quote.
Starting with a sign, although there’s rarely just one here. Signposting an area requires a series of signs, and the most important thing is that all the signs are cut from the same sheet and follow the same grid.
As few as possible. Anyone reading the sign is either driving or looking for their way, and can only take in three or four lines at a time. If there are several destinations on the site, use a large sign at the entrance and smaller signs at the junctions beyond it.
Yes, and that is why we keep a record of your design and your order. A sign added two years later will still be part of the series, in the same colour and the same size.
Dibond scores 1 out of 5 and is not PVC-free, but it does last the longest. If it must be explicitly PVC-free, then Biprint is the panel suitable for outdoor use, with an EcoScore of 3 out of 5.
Are you looking for signposts to guide visitors from the gate to the correct entrance, the car park or a specific department? Creafor produces more than 10,000 weather-resistant signposts every year, ranging from a single sign on company premises to a complete set for a campus or a residential care home. Permanent signage needs to remain legible for years, so you’ll usually opt for Dibond, or a traffic sign with reflective film if the sign is to be permanently positioned alongside a driveway. If you have the signs printed on both sides, a single sign can point in two directions. If you don’t have a design yet, our design team will create one based on your briefing. If it’s for a weekend, an open day or a diversion that will be removed afterwards, you’re better off with arrow signs.
Please provide us with the plan or the dimensions, and tell us what needs to be included. We will assess the best options from a technical and budgetary perspective, and draw up a proposal covering design, production and installation.
