Order QR stickers

You’ll be taken straight to the calculation module, where you can enter the size and quantity yourself and see the price straight away.

Orders are placed via printvis.be, our own ordering system. There, you can calculate the price based on your chosen size and quantity. You create your own design using the editor within the system, so you do not need to provide a print-ready file.

Frequently asked questions about QR stickers

Can a QR sticker be displayed outdoors?

Yes, indoors and outdoors. On a flat surface, monomer vinyl lasts 2 years, whilst polymer vinyl lasts 5 years. For outdoor use or on a vehicle, you would usually opt for polymer vinyl, as it adheres even to slightly curved surfaces.

Will the code remain scannable over time?

A barcode is read based on contrast, so dirt and scratches are the enemy, not the passage of time itself. An extra protective varnish or protective laminate will keep the surface smooth for longer. Once you’ve applied the sticker, test it once with a mobile phone to be absolutely sure.

Can I move the sticker later?

You can do this with white magnetic foil. It can be repositioned and leaves no adhesive residue, which is handy for a code that needs to be on one device today and on another next month. The 0.85 mm version is intended for use on vehicles only.

How do I apply a QR sticker?

It works best when applied dry. Make sure the surface is free of dust and grease, and press down from the centre towards the edges to ensure no air bubbles remain in the code area. If you encounter any problems, please contact one of our staff members.

Will you be creating the file containing the code as well?

We can help with the design. Based on a clear briefing, we’ll create the design you require, and our team will prepare your file for printing. We’ll check your submitted file for size, transparency flattening, outline paths and bleed.

What is the difference compared to sticker sheets?

If you need lots of small stickers, the ‘sticker sheets’ page is the place to go. This page is about QR stickers used as individual markers on a specific surface: a table, a piece of equipment, a window or a car.

What is the difference between these and machine stickers?

Machine stickers refer to the markings on the machine itself, such as a type plate or a control label. If your code appears on one of these, please select that page. If the code stands on its own, you’ve come to the right place.

Can I order just one QR sticker?

Yes. We can supply anything from a single item to a larger batch, so you don’t need to order a whole box just for one display counter or one machine.

What is the largest size?

It’s limited to the roll width, but a QR code is rarely very large. What matters is the reading distance: the further away the phone is, the larger the code needs to be. Tell us where it’s going to be displayed, and we’ll work out the dimensions for you.

What is the minimum order quantity?

From a certain quantity. For a run of items, each with the same code, the price per item drops rapidly.

What about the environmental aspect?

The vinyl films are made of PVC. The 0.5 mm magnetic version is available in a PVC-free version; see magnetic stickers.

Description QR stickers

Are you looking for QR stickers that direct your visitors to a menu, a user guide or a form? Creafor prints them in Lokeren, from as little as one copy. It’s not just the code that does the job; where it’s placed is just as important: on the table, on the body of a device, at the counter or on the shop window – wherever someone is likely to take out their phone anyway. If you need lots of small ones, it’s best to have a look at sticker sheets. If the code appears on a device that also bears a type plate or control label, you’ll be better off with machine stickers. On a flat surface, vinyl monomer is sufficient; on a slightly curved bodywork, choose polymer; and if the code needs to be transferred to another device or another car, it is also available on magnetic foil.

Materials for QR stickers

Vinyl monomer, 2 years

White or transparent – the cheapest solution for a flat surface.

Polyvinyl chloride, 5 years

White or transparent; also suitable for slightly curved surfaces.

Magnetic film, 5 years

White, in 0.6 or 0.85 mm, repositionable and leaves no adhesive residue. The 0.85 mm version is for vehicles only. Handy for a code that moves with you.

Keeping the code readable

  • Extra protective laminate to protect the code from scratches and dirt
  • Protective varnish in gloss, satin or matt, full-coverage or with cut-outs
  • Leave sufficient white space around the code, as a margin that is too narrow will disrupt the scanning process

Form

  • Rectangle, rounded corners or a special shape
  • All three materials are suitable for indoor and outdoor use
  • From a certain point
