Frequently asked questions about sticker sheets
Can the stickers on a single sheet be different?
Yes. A sticker sheet consists of several identical or different stickers, as you prefer. That is precisely why you should order a sheet rather than individual stickers: you get a set of them all together on a single backing.
How are the stickers cut out?
They are cut into the sheet right through to the reverse side. This means the shape is completely separate, but the sheet remains in one piece until you peel off a sticker. As a result, nothing gets lost between printing and use.
Can sticker sheets be used outdoors, and how long do they last?
That depends on the material. Monomer vinyl lasts for 2 years on a flat surface; polymer vinyl lasts for 5 years and can also be used on slightly curved surfaces; and cast vinyl lasts for 7 years and can also be used on curved surfaces. If you tell us where the stickers will be applied, we will select the appropriate material.
What is the difference compared to a separate, bespoke sticker?
You can order individual stickers one at a time, in the size you specify. A sticker sheet contains a set of small stickers on a single backing, which works out cheaper if you need a lot of the same type. For a single, larger image, please see the monomer sticker.
How many sheets should I order?
The ordering module features label stickers made from self-adhesive paper, available in straight or die-cut shapes. For orders in vinyl, penstick or magnetic foil, we provide a bespoke quote, based on the number of sheets and the number of stickers per sheet.
Do the stickers leave any adhesive residue?
Vinyl stickers have a standard adhesive layer and are designed to stay in place. If you want to be able to remove them without leaving any residue, choose static cling or magnetic film, both of which can be repositioned.
Can a protective layer be applied over the stickers?
Yes. You can have a protective varnish applied in a gloss, satin or matt finish, either over the entire surface or in specific areas, or a protective laminate for short- or long-term use. Opaque white, a reflective layer, fluorescent or glow-in-the-dark finishes are also available.
Do we apply the sticker sheets ourselves?
Yes, you can do that yourself. The stickers are small enough to be aligned properly without any tools, and they’re specifically designed to be handed out to staff, customers or branches.
What is the largest size?
The sheet is the same width as the roll, and within that, you can decide how to arrange the stickers. The better they fit, the more will fit on a sheet and the lower the price per sticker.
What about the environmental aspect?
The vinyl films are made of PVC. The self-adhesive paper label stickers are the paper version, and these are often a perfectly good alternative for indoor use.
Can I have a different name or number for each sheet?
That’s possible, but variable data requires a separate file for each sheet. Please send us the list, and we’ll let you know how much it will cost to prepare.

If you need hundreds of small stickers that mustn’t be left lying about, you should order them as a sticker sheet. The stickers are pre-cut on the sheet right through to the backing, so they’re loose but stay in place until you peel them off. This works well for labels on packaging, for numbering, for discount stickers at the till, and for a promotion where everyone receives a sheet. The stickers on a single sheet can be identical or all different. As they’re small, anyone can stick them on without needing any prior instructions. The material used depends on where they’ll be applied: on a flat surface, monomeric vinyl – which lasts for two years – is sufficient. If you’re looking for a single custom-made sticker rather than a sheet full of small ones, you’d be better off with the monomer sticker.

Materials for Sticker sheets
Multiple stickers per sheet
Whether identical or different, they’re cut right through to the back so they stay in place until you peel them off. That’s the whole idea: a series printed in one go, to be removed one by one.
Three types of vinyl
Monomer for flat surfaces (2 years), polymer for slightly curved surfaces (5 years), moulded cast for highly curved surfaces (7 years).
Without glue or using magnets
Static penstick, repositionable and leaves no adhesive residue. Or white magnetic film in 0.6 or 0.85 mm thicknesses, with the 0.85 mm version intended solely for vehicles.
Self-adhesive paper label stickers
Cut to size or to shape; available to order in the module. The most economical option for indoor work.
