How do I create a print-ready pdf?

• File: Creafor works from PDF formats by default.
• Format: Create your pdf at actual size (100%) + 3 mm bleed (cutting margin) all around. The bleed may be made visible with cutting marks.
• Colour mode: CMYK - Fogra 39 (Iso Coated V2)
• Resolution: Standard 300 dpi (for XXL min. 100 dpi)
• Fonts: Embed (or vectorise) fonts. If a font is not embedded, it may jump on output.
• Ink occupation: Make sure your ink count does not exceed 300%, this way we avoid the drying process not being optimal and can transfer.
• Transparency: If you are working from photoshop, please flatten your transparencies.
• Cutting contour: Do you want a specific shape instead of just a rectangular format? Then create a spot colour "Cut" for the contour. If half-cutting is required, use "Kisscut".
• Support colours: If you wish to add spot colour, a specific pms colour or varnish layer to your design, always use a spot colour and give it the correct designation.
