A seat for a waiting area or a lounge corner, featuring your own image.
Extra seating for an event, which you don’t need to store afterwards.
A chair that you put together yourself, use several times and then put in the waste paper bin.
The EcoScore is our own assessment of the material’s environmental footprint, on a scale of 1 to 5. It says nothing about the quality, and the material must be recycled under the right conditions.
You’ll be taken straight to the calculation module, where you can enter the size and quantity yourself and see the price straight away.
Orders are placed via printvis.be, our own ordering system. There, you can calculate the price based on your chosen size and quantity. You create your own design using the editor within the system, so you do not need to provide a print-ready file.
The seats are sturdy, despite the lightweight material, thanks to the honeycomb core between the two outer layers. This construction gives Reboard a rating of 4 out of 5 for rigidity in our material data sheets, whilst ordinary cardboard doesn’t even come close. No load-bearing capacity in kilograms is specified anywhere, and we prefer not to quote a figure that we cannot substantiate. If you’re using these in a public waiting area, please enquire about the load capacity for each model before ordering.
No, this is indoor furniture. Cardboard absorbs moisture and, as a result, loses precisely the rigidity from which it derives its load-bearing capacity. An enclosed hall, a foyer or an exhibition hall is no problem, but a terrace or an open-air marquee is.
Yes. You take them apart, store the panels flat and reassemble them for the next event. Only when a seat is no longer needed does it go into the waste paper bin, and that’s the end of the story: there’s nothing that needs to be dismantled and disposed of separately.
Just what is cut out of the sheet. A chair has to support weight over a small area and therefore has a seat, backrest and side panels that work together. A tabletop for placing things on is simpler in design, and that’s what you’ll find with cardboard tables. In practice, people tend to order the two together.
Yes, you can choose between printed and unprinted when placing your order. The image is printed in full colour onto the flat panel before we cut it to shape, so the print extends across the seat and side panels without any seams or stickers. You can find out more about what’s possible with this material under ‘Rebord panels’.
No, that’s precisely the point of this equipment. You can rearrange the seating area yourself during the event, without needing a second person or a trolley. The exact weight per chair isn’t listed in our equipment specifications, so we don’t provide a figure for it.
Cardboard absorbs moisture, so a spilled drink leaves a stain and a wet seat won’t dry without leaving a mark. For an evening reception, this is rarely a problem. However, for a waiting area where people drink coffee for months on end, this is not the right type of seating.
The ordering module currently features one design: a lounge chair. Other models, quantities or heights are available on request, after which we will design and cut the piece in our own workshop in Lokeren. We deliver as agreed, flat-packed, so that you can assemble them on site.
From a single seat. For a theatre auditorium, you order a set, and the price per seat then drops significantly because the cutting is done in a continuous run.
Made entirely from cardboard, PVC-free, Ecoscore 5 out of 5, and can be disposed of with waste paper afterwards. For furniture used throughout an event, this is the most cost-effective construction method available.
Are you looking for cardboard chairs for a waiting area, a lounge area at a trade fair or a one-off event? The first question Creafor is always asked is the same: will they actually hold their shape? The answer lies in the construction. A honeycomb core runs between two flat outer sheets, transforming a lightweight panel into a rigid structure that retains its shape as long as the load is evenly distributed. Despite their lightweight nature, the seats are sturdy, and you can use them more than once. Printed or unprinted: if your branding is featured on the seat and the side panels, a waiting area will immediately be recognisable as yours. We set them up reboard panels, and once you’ve finished using them, they can all be put in the waste paper bin. If you’d like some bar tables as well, please have a look at tables made of cardboard.

Three parts that work together, cut to shape and assembled on site, without any prior gluing. It is this interplay that supports a chair, and it is also what sets it apart from a table, which only needs a sheet of paper.
White in 5, 10 or 16 mm; brown in 10, 16 or 25 mm. Four out of five on the stiffness scale in our product sheets.
Flat panels thus become a box rather than a sheet, and a box distributes the load across several surfaces.
