A piece of cloth hanging from a fence or scaffolding that lets the wind through and remains in place.
A notice regarding a building site or a plot of land that is to remain in place for several months.
The heaviest of our two breathable fabrics.
The EcoScore is our own assessment of the material’s environmental footprint, on a scale of 1 to 5. It says nothing about the quality, and the material must be recycled under the right conditions.

Orders are placed via printvis.be, our own ordering system. There, you can calculate the price based on your chosen size and quantity. You create your own design using the editor within the system, so you do not need to provide a print-ready file.
A mesh banner is a printed piece of fabric with small holes, allowing the wind to pass through. You’ll see them around building sites, along sports grounds and on fences, where a solid piece of fabric would catch too much wind.
A front-lit banner is solid and provides greater contrast in the image. Mesh is perforated, so air can pass through it and the tensile stress on your fixings is reduced. As a result, the print appears slightly less three-dimensional, but the fabric remains intact where a solid banner would tear.
Yes. It is traditionally used outdoors, on Heras and Nadar fences, on a building façade, around scaffolding or in a freestanding frame. It can also be used indoors, but in that case the wind advantage is irrelevant.
We hem the fabric and fit metal eyelets into it, either at the four corners or at intervals of 20, 25, 30, 40 or 50 cm. You can stretch it across a fence or an aluminium tubular frame using tensioning straps. A tunnel hem is also an option.
The standard mesh is made of 350-gram PVC and has an Ecoscore of 1. The PVC-free version is made of 230-gram polyester and has an Ecoscore of 4. If you work for a government body or a client with sustainability requirements, this is often the deciding factor.
That depends on the location, the wind and how taut the fabric is, so we don’t give a fixed number of months. A fabric that flaps causes wear and tear on the rings, so ensuring it is properly taut is more important than the material itself.
Yes, with our own team. If you send us a photo of the location, we’ll let you know which type of mounting is suitable and what we’ll do on site.
Mesh is listed as an option in our ordering module, where you can enter your own size and quantity and see the price straight away.
From a certain quantity. For a batch of canvases for the same shipyard, the price per piece decreases.
The fabric is perforated by 40 to 60 per cent. The higher that percentage, the less wind resistance there is, but also the more light shines through the image. That is the trade-off.
There is no limit to the width, as we print to your specifications. As for the length, this depends on your design, so please let us know.
Standard mesh is made of PVC and falls into that category. The PVC-free mesh is made of polyester and scores 4 out of 5 on the EcoScore, rather than 1.
That often happens, especially with a banner that just has a company name on it. Roll it up rather than folding it, as a sharp crease will remain visible in the image.
If there is a fence, scaffolding or a freestanding frame around your building site, and your previous banner blew loose or pulled the barrier out of alignment, then this is the version you’re looking for. The banner is perforated, so that the wind passes through it rather than pushing against it. This means it catches far less wind than a solid banner and keeps the strain on the fence to a minimum. You do, however, sacrifice some opacity, as those holes also let light through. This version is the heaviest of the two we stock – 350 grams of PVC – and is the standard choice for public works, Heras and Nadar fencing. Creafor uses a stitched seam rather than a welded seam and fits metal rings instead of plastic ones. If your specifications require PVC-free materials, choose the PVC-free polyester mesh banner.

Perforated to between 40 and 60 per cent, so that the wind passes through it rather than pushing against it. This helps to minimise the load on the fence.
Custom-printed with no width restrictions, so a scaffold or site hoarding covering the full length is supplied in one piece.
